| About | Dr. G. Rajkumar is heading the department of Physics from 2018 onwards. He has been awarded his M.Tech. and Ph.D. degree from Anna University, Coimbatore and Madurai Kamaraj University respectively. He has a total experience of twenty nine years in industry, academics and research. He has been granted one domestic patent, has filed seven international patents and eight domestic patents for his inventions. He has published the outcome of his research works as nine research articles in SCI indexed journals. He has commendable knowledge in the preparation of bioactive, fluorophosphate glass systems, nano silver, nano composites and perovskite manganite materials. He has completed two R&D projects funded by DRDO for the decontamination of chemical and bio warfare agents.
Currently, he received Rs. 34.82 Lakhs from Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi for “Development of Apex Locating, Anti-microbial and Adaptive Gutta Percha Points for Root Canal Applications”. Further, he has received the sanction of Rs. 100 Lakhs for “Design and Development of Advanced Materials for Engineering and Bio-Medical Applications” from Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi . |
